El Capitan's Track and Field and Cross Country teams have been one of the school's most succesful programs since the school's inception in 1958. With numerous League and C.I.F. titles these programs have amassed more C.I.F. titles then the rest of the school's athletic programs combined.

Many great athletes as well as coaches have been a part of this program which should make all current  and future members of this team have a sense of pride.
