- Coaches will run laps directly corresponding to how much money the athletes raise!
- A lap (quarter mile) will be run by coaches for every $20 raised by athletes!
- Ex. If each athlete gets 10 people to sponsor 1 lap each (total of $200 and there are 36 athletes on the team that = $7,200 raised ), 100% goes to the team plus coaches have to run 90 miles!
- Coaches will run until the mileage is complete (all night long hopefully)!
- Coaches will run along the coast until they reach their final destination at Mission Beach.
- After the run, coaches, athletes, and parents will celebrate at Mission Beach with a BBQ.

- Programs annual budget is $800 or approximately $20 per athlete.
- 5 Invitationals per year with an average cost of $200 a piece total of $1000.
- Uniforms cost on average $160 for shorts, jersey and warm-ups per athlete.
- Travel to Mt. SAC Invite (World's Largest Cross Country Meet) 11 hotel rooms at $90 a piece = $900 plus food for 36 athletes.
- Annual expenses approximately $4000 but we only have an $800 budget from school. Plus frequent need to repurchase lost, damaged or old uniforms.
- Athletes get a chance to get back at coaches while raising funds for their team.
